What may be repairable

Loose screws, some nose-pad issues and minor alignment problems can often be assessed quickly. More significant damage depends on frame material, break location, available components and whether a repair would remain safe and stable.

What to bring

Bring both lenses, the frame and every loose component you can find. Avoid strong household glue because it can damage coatings and make a professional repair harder. A spare pair and an in-date prescription are also useful if replacement becomes the better option.
