What to expect
Clear advice, not a rushed transaction.
Your contact lens fitting
A fitting is separate from a routine sight test because it assesses the lenses on your eyes. We review prescription, corneal shape, tear film, eye health and lifestyle before choosing trial lenses and checking vision, movement and comfort.
Confidence for first-time wearers
You will be shown how to insert and remove your lenses, how to recognise the correct orientation and how to follow a safe cleaning or disposal routine. We do not rush this step; the goal is for you to manage lenses safely at home.
- Supervised insertion and removal practice
- Clear wear-time and replacement advice
- Cleaning and storage guidance where relevant
- Warning signs that mean lenses should be removed
Aftercare protects eye health
Even comfortable lenses need professional review. Aftercare checks vision, lens fit and the health of the cornea and surrounding tissues, and gives you a chance to discuss dryness, handling or changing visual needs.
