The Practice always keeps a carefully – selected range of sunglasses – all with fine ophthalmic lenses, a range of tint densities and full U.V. protection. The selection is maintained throughout the year – not just in Summer when the sun may shine – but for all those times when protection from the harmful effects of U.V. radiation is desirable.
In recent years, we have advised the use of sunglasses more generally than in the past – especially for children – and our range reflects this commitment to the best modern ocular practice.
Prescription sunglasses are a particular speciality of the Practice and we take pride in providing a complementary spectacle rather than just another version of the same, perhaps less – than- suitable, frame – sunglasses have a specific task to perform and must be designed, and fashioned, for the purpose.
